I have had positive experiences at this hotel before, but this time was a let down. There was mold in the bathroom and on the coffee pot. The front desk person was smoking in the pool area when I arrived. The pool area is marked as non smoking (indoor pool) and when she came to help us, she acted as if we were interrupting her break time. I visit this area once a month and hope my experience will improve next time. read more

The whole town and the staff at the hotel were friendly.
Liked everything.
The hotel has small rooms, but very nice.

The air conditioner in the room was very good.
The beds were terribly hard and uncomfortable.
My stay was not pleasant. The beds were the hardest mattresses I have
ever slept on. The indoor pool, was nothing more than an oversized bathtub. The first time I went down to the contentinal breakfast, there was no coffee, 1 pot of just water. The people at the front desk were talking amongst themselves, not paying attention to anything else. Another front desk person was on her cellphone everytime I would see her. We had a total of 10 channels to choose from. Three channels of which were out for the last 2 days of our stay. The only thing I can say good was that housekeeping was good. read more

Doors to rooms were inside; pool.
Loud noises from water pipes and room was across from laundry room. Floor was not vacuumed the 1st day. And there was a
hair in the bed.
This is the best place to stay in Bonne Terre area. I have tried at least two other hotels in the area and for this price and star level none of them even come close to the overall cleanliness and quality of this hotel.

Close to my destination.
Accommodations were less than expected.
The room was no larger than any other; ours just didn't have two beds. So for me and my two teenage boys we would have been much better served with a regular room.

Convenient to the recreational site (Bonne Terre Mine).
Bed wasn't all that comfortable.
This is a great place to stay if you are scuba diving at Bonne Terre Mine. It is convenient and they have some breakfast available. Completely meets expectations for a 1-star/economy hotel.

The view.
The AC didn't work correctly and the bed was terrible.
We couldn't use the pool because of it's condition, the AC would only run for a short while then it had to be reset and the mattress was hard and uncomfortable.

The lack of service when requested, the problems with the room and accommodations.
The hotel was standard hotel, no extras for the customer, the front desk was always empty and you had to wait for average 10 minutes for someone to come back inside or to the front, the rooms had no screens on the windows and being next to a pond the bugs were an issue if opened window to allow fresh air in, carpet cleaner in the air conditioning vents the beer bottle set on the soda machine for the 4 days stayed there, the stairways and the halls were not maintained to my standards (leaving dirty carpets and items around). read more

Close to restaurant.
The shoe that was left by the person before us, just made me wonder how well the rooms get cleaned.
It's okay.

The staff.
Horrible stay, no hot hot tub in pool area only reason I wanted it and my other person had to stay somewhere else with a bed for herself very inconvenient not geting the right kind of room the hotel said there was nothing they could do.
