Super 8 Motel - Clear Lake

I was in a non smoking room and I had several smoking rooms in the same area as my room and I breathed smoke from these other rooms all night. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. However, the staff are as friendly as you can ever expect.

There were smoking rooms right next to non-smoking rooms. The wireless internet did not work. The grounds were trashy and the room was overpriced for the location and motel.

Everything was excellent. Could use a printer attached to their computer that people use. Did not have proper boxes for the digital TV switch that most stations have switched to and that eliminated the two channels I watch most, FOX and Fox News.

This is an economy hotel with no bells and whistles (hence that's why it was cheap!). The rooms were old, but suited my needs as a place to lay my head. Only problem was that smoking rooms were situated next to non-smoking rooms. Every once and a while I would get a whiff of smoke.

I am not sure why, but there was a couple leaving unhappy with the conditions of the room. Then I went to my room and it was a muggy night with this distinct cat smell (I am allergic and lived with a cat for 10 years). I began sneezing and felt crappy, but I don't know where else to stay, so I stayed. This was a weather-related stop and it was perfect for that. Economical and close to the interstate.

An okay place for businessmen. Think it could be spiffed up a bit for senior married couples.

Good enough to sleep only.

This hotel was outdated and not well kept. The rooms and bathrooms were dirty and poorly lit. The breakfast bar was inadequate for a hotel of any kind.
