Description of Super 8 Motel - Florence
Our property is located on beautiful Shoal Creek which is a branch of Wilson Lake of Tennessee River. We offer comfortable, quiet and clean accommodations at affordable rates. The only motel on the lake in Shoals area. We have a variety of rooms from single, double, kitchenette suites, executive suites, and whirlpool suites. Free High Speed Internet. Our outdoor pool is overlooking the lake. We have a boat ramp and plenty of parking for truckers and boats. We provide outside outlets for boaters to charge their boats. We are AAA approved and provide quiet luxury at the edge of the town and lake, with the convenience of being right on Hwy 72 and 43. When you are in the Florence area make the Super 8 your choice. Quiet location.
It was not clean, linens not changed in 3 day stay and only got fresh towels once.

Quiet location near waterfront but very poor service and unclean rooms.

Close to the water and had a boat ramp.
Very poor service, did not resupply room with coffee.

I was able to stay in a smoking room 3 nights and then had to move to a non smoking room. Two of the days of this stay the room was not re-supplied with coffee bags.

It was cheap.
It was dirty.

The room was not clean, there were ashes in the bathroom sink, the tub, carpet and windows were dirty. We asked for and were given a set of clean sheets to change the bed, slept fitfully and checked out ASAP the next morning.

It had an outside patio and was right on the lake/river.
Our room was next to the office and drink machines.

Nothing fancy but a good price. We loved the patio and beside the river.
