Super 8 Motel - Greenville

Very friendly staff - Just old facilities. Either needs to be re-done or closed. Poor continental breakfast.

Centrally located (although we were going to be visiting south of Greenville and the motel was on the North side. Clean. Free wife and computer for use of guests in the lobby.

Older facility, crumbling plaster, paint and less than stellar previous repairs. That being said, it was inexpensive.

Overall, it was ok. Could have been better.

Hotel is run down. There were people up all night partying in the halls. Walls were thin so you could hear conversations in the room next to you. Hotel smelled of mold and mildew as well as stale cigarettes. When I got up the follow morning there were empty beer bottles in the hall as well as the parking lot. This was not a nice place to stay.

A substandard motel. The faded sign should have warned me, do not enter. Continental breakfast was minimal, all crabs and low quality starches. Room, hall, lobby, all stunk. Mildew, smoke, and rotting organic matter. Central A/C didn't work. No response. Room was smoking room (no non-smoking available), but even then, it was loaded with mold in A/C, rugs torn and dirty, and entire experience was sub-standard. I had stayed here about two years ago. The heater didn't work. Also, I asked for a late check out (which was 11:30am) and at 11:31, the front desk calls me and says that if I am not down their checking out soon, that the computer is automatically going to charge me another day. I hope I don't have to go to Greenville again.
