Super 8 Motel - Indio

The place was hard to find since it was tucked behind some stores in a mall and I didn't arrive until dark so, it was an omen. I should have kept on driving. The place was torn up. They were remodeling. Paint fumes permeated the room and I had an asthma attack. I slept a couple of hours. Fearful that I would pick up some dread disease, I slept in my clothes. Again fearful of disease, I did not shower. I gathered my stuff, told the desk the place was unfit and left to sleep in front of the local Starbucks for a few hours. There was a large construction project that looked as if it had been abandoned before completion. Parking lot, rooms, lobby, all needed sprucing up. Would never stay in a Super 8 again.

Very disgusted with the whole trip. We could not stay at this hotel longer then one night. Super 8 would not help us be placed in another Super 8 that was cleaner and not under construction. So, our trip was ruined. It was cut short from three night to one.

This hotel is undergoing extensive renovation, pool closed, construction debris around the property. A lot of nieghborhood foot traffic and gang graffiti. Not recommended for families or women traveling alone. I had stangers come to my room asking for change while the door was open. Very Bad.

missed finding the motel as it is not clearly marked. The entire facility is under redevelopment.. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool was closed.

I'm a business traveler - stay there because of the location and price.

A very old hotel that supplied a weak hairdryer, a fridge that didn't work, a broken toilet and a very uncomfortable bed. The bed had a plastic underline that every time you moved it sounded like a diaper. We had to ask for extra pillows since only two were supplied. The housekeeper walked into the room without knocking our saying housekeeping so that was an awkward situation. The continental breakfast was lacking in many ways. read more

The room is spotless, the air conditioning unit is efficient in 110+ degrees. Parking is easy and close. Ice machine works.

Prompt call at 11:00 to tell us checkout time. Not too friendly about it either. Could have asked if we needed late checkout. It wasn't as if the hotel was solidly booked that they needed to clean that room now. It was a Sunday! Other than that, good clean hotel for the price!

This hotel is really a one star hotel. The breakfast is only cold cereal and bread. The pool only has a few sit down chairs, nothing to lie in. Spider webs in my room also.
