Needed to change date of reservation, staff was very helpful.
Entryway + hallway smelled of smoke.

A good hotel, very comfortable and clean, great location, and nice office staff.

Overall, nice. But, I didn't know why the clerk wouldn't give me a receipt at check-out.

Friendly, comfortable, good price, location.
Had to ask for icy walkways to be salted. I use handicap parking.

As before, friendly, comfortable, location near food, malls, gas, etc., only bad thing was icy walkway to my van parked in handicapped parking. Walkway not shoveled, nor salted. When I asked, manager seemed annoyed and barely complied after several complaints.

Only a few hundred yards away from the expressway.
The automatic locks to enter the building were dismantled.

Good value, clean room, comfortable bed, exactly what you might expect for

The room was comfortable.
The room was quite small and a little cramped.

The rooms were cramped and small, and I like my motels to be motels, with instant access to the room from my vehicle (we had to go inside this one). Super 8 is a nice budget motel that's easy on the wallet, but I would never stay in this one again.

The help desk was not friendly or customer oriented.

The entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. I needed change for the soda machine and the guy at the front desk would not give me quarters presumably because he was eating. Then 30 min later he called the room and asked if we still needed change. I will never stay there again.
