Not very much to like
We reserved a non smoking room but were able to change on arrival.

The motel was medium quality, reasonably clean and located where we needed to be but the breakfast looked so bad we got coffee and went to Denny's, down the street.

Nothing.
Dirty smelly.

Dump hotels, all around were cheaper and cleaner.

Nothing! We went home a day early because the hotel was so bad.
Everything.

Dirty, I would rather sleep in a tent. I would never put my kids though that again.

The staff was absolutely friendly.
The beds are too hard.

The hotel staff is very friendly and they will go out of their way to accommodate you. The rooms are very clean. The beds were way to hard and they did not have hyper allergenic pillows.

It was on my way to the destination.
Small rooms.

I recommend this hotel for those needing one night. It was convenient to the highway.

Nice location with a side road we could walk on.
It was fine.

Nice place to stay, and friendly staff. Had continental breakfast and that was okay too. Staff very accommodating and friendly.

Location.
Old rooms, beds, bedding, and bathrooms.

The hotel was not updated at all. It was definitely the oldest and worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. The carpet was old and gross. The bed's mattress caved in on one side. The sheets were cheap, thin, and would not stay on the bed. The blanket was very old. Everything in the bathroom was outdated and the tile and grout were dirty in the corners.

Lousy nights sleep.

A one star hotel has one requirement - provide a nights sleep. To get that the bed sheets must still be on the bed when I wake up in the morning. I am not a restless sleeper but when the sheets don't fit the bed then a night’s sleep is no longer an option. I woke up more tired than I was when I lay down.

Location to restaurants.
I didn't think the rooms were sound proofed enough early in the morning(0500am) you could hear people coming in and out of front door below our room.

I thought the rooms needed to be updated. There was no noise barriers set up or sound proofing. I felt the room could of been more updated. Maintenance staff appeared to be not up to staff poor quality finish work such as caulking in bathroom etc. Otherwise for dollar paid it was a ok price.
