Parking spaces were very tight,

After traveling from L.A. for eight hours, yeah I know it's not suppose to take eight hours, but got lost cutting across Central Ca. via map quest. It was 11:00 pm by the time we got to the motel, and the manager didn't seem at all put out with my two son's and I checking in late. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable, everything worked, and it had a microwave and fridge. The lobby had a good assortment of breakfast items. I based our stay on previous visitor's reviews, and would stay there again. read more

The Plasma TVs were nice.

It was overall a good night stay, not great for more than a weekends stay. But, the price is high for being a Super 8 Motel.

The proximity to the sites and restaurants, and a small pool to boot.

The owner is very friendly and flexible to accommodate our needs. It is a decent place to stay in. We would come back to this hotel if the need ever arises again.

Location allowed us to walk to boardwalk and downtown.
Continental breakfast was pre-packaged pastries and cereal.

Location allowed us to walk to the boardwalk, downtown and out to the point to watch the surfers. The hotel is just a hotel, if you're spending more time in the hotel room than you are out enjoying the city there is something wrong.

Very comfortable beds.

I was pleasantly surprise at this hotel. The bed was very nice, had free internet access, and, the staff was friendly. The room was also had a fridge/microwave and the room was larger than most budget hotels. Definitely the best of budget hotels in Santa Cruz.
