It was easy to find, close to the docks for early morning departure, and very clean and friendly.
The breakfast was disappointing - basic, no fruit or whole grain items.

Meh.. it is survivable. This hotel seems to be more of 1 star quality. If this is the best hotel Super 8 has to offer, "Life is not so great at Super 8"

The view - was outstanding.
The bed was close to awful.

Very sparse room. Great view from balcony rooms. Very simple breakfast and small area to eat it in.

Waffle maker at continental breakfast.

For the price we paid, this was a poor value. Maybe they were charging premium prices because this was their busy season, but due to a cold snap, there were plenty of vacancies.

The room smelled very strongly of cologne.

I was not impressed with this hotel. Our room smelled strongly of cologne, and the sink was not very clean. The front desk attendant also refused to give me a receipt when we left.

We had to sleep in a smoking room.

The hotel would do well to become a smoking-free zone.

The location was fantastic.

The location is fantastic for convienence to go to Macinac Island or into Mackinac City. The staff was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. Also the rooms were very clean.
