It's location was convenient.
The hallways were very dim.

The hotel attendants were polite. My room was a handicap room (it was the only one left) that was right by the ice machine which you heard clearly in the room. One of the chairs was visibly falling apart- had I sat in it, it likely would have collapsed. The bed was very comfortable.

The room was clean - but definitely old and dated.

Hotel location is very convenient to Dubque and Galena. Staff is friendly and efficient. Room was very clean but the carpet, bed spreads and towels were old and needed replacing. If you just want an inexpensive place to lay your head without worrying about the neighborhood or bedbugs - this is a great location.
