The decor was beautiful, the front desk was helpful and friendly.
Portions of food in the restaurant are TINY, waiter was very rude.
I traveled to this hotel with my fiancee and his good friend. The decor was beautiful, the rooms were huge, and the beds were very comfortable. It was all lovely except for our restaurant experience. The food was very tasty, but the chef's speciality is tappas, which are tiny portions of food for up to $20 a plate. These portions are so small that I doubt it could fill a child's belly. Be prepared to spend a small fortune if you plan to be full. Also, our waiter was very rude and treated us in a condescending manner because we only bought one entree per person. However, if you take away our restaurant experience, everything else was great. read more

Luxurious, clean - would definitely stay here again.
Dining room small & loud, small bar area , no refrigerator in room.
Checked in early without an issue, room was spotless, very nicely appointed. Part of our package included a complimentary breakfast, we were told at check in that when we returned later, that our vouchers would be under the door. When we returned, they were not there, so we had to go back to the desk and re-request the vouchers, at which time we received them. Otherwise, extremely satisfied with the accommodations, service, and location. read more

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, closer to where it matters in Chicago.
I love everything.
This hotel is beautiful and tastefully decorated with a blend of old and new. The beds are absolutely marvelous, the staff is always helpful and the location is 1A.
I will come back any time, now this is my favorite hotel.

Modern art deco rooms – great.
I've used Priceline several times, but this is my first post to Priceline because the hotel was such a great experience. Travel can be a pain, but this place was really nice.

The view from our room was truly stunning. The room was spacious and elegant-- awesome sheets! Luxurious bathroom.
Slightly removed from the shopping areas.
The modern elegance of our spacious room surprised and pleased us. The sheets were incredible. Our view was stunning. We were so impressed with the staff; every single person with whom we came in contact was extremely helpful, pleasant and very knowledgeable about the history of the hotel. We would gladly stay in this hotel again!

Excellent, helpful staff. Everything beautifully clean. Good atmosphere.
The one night we ordered room service it was slow and the food was not the best.
Would definitely use again. The staff was excellent - friendly, willing and helpful. Everywhere is beautifully clean and the hotel has a very good atmosphere. Excellent room and bathroom. We were disappointed with Room Service which was slow and the meal a disappointment, on the one occasion we ordered it.
