The dramatic and innovative architecture blends with the surrounding desert and the 12-million-year-old granite boulder formations that dot the landscape. It is located 33 miles from Phoenix/Sky Harbor Airport minutes from Scottsdale Regional Airport and five miles from the picturesque town of Carefree. A helicopter landing pad is also located on site. When I asked if they have room with HD TV because I needed it, they said there was no available. Then after I booked another hotel, which have flat screen TV in their rooms, for the same night and told them I needed to leave, they told me then can give me a room with HD TV. It's too late. I left.

Beautiful casita and grounds.

The Boulders is a beautiful resort. The casita was very large with a nice feel to it. The bathrooms are showing their age - tile, etc. The spa looks beautiful, however the prices were very steep. The Boulders is a uniquely beautiful place.

resort fee per night. Too expensive.

Incredible. Had a wonderful, relaxing three night stay. Our room had a fireplace with sitting area in front of it and a wonderful bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The resort fee of $30 was pricey, but did cover use of the basic spa facilities (steam room, fitness center, locker rooms) and classes such as yogo, pilates, etc.

loved EVERYTHING

this was a surprise. I got a great rate, so we went for the weekend. Loved the room. the food, the massage, the pool and the setting so much that we extended out stay. Love that the reort fee covers the tips, make life much easier. Fabulous place, I am telling all of my freinds they MUST go(and take a side trip to Sedona)

The rooms were really nice.
The housekeeping staff threw away my personal belongings because they thought it was trash.

Everything was great except they charge you $10 a day for DVD rental which is not stated until you arrive.
