Very elegant.
Air conditioning unit in room not working; freezing in room.
Very elegant hotel, but we had trouble finding someone to help us with the heating unit not working in the room. We called down to the front desk and no one answered, then housekeeping (no one answered), bell captain (no one answered). Finally, the hotel engineer called us back and said he would fix it from his office. All in all though, a fantastic deal for the price we paid, and we were even put in a corner room! read more

Gorgeous lobby. Pick up service in the evening.
Room was very small, but adequate.
Beautiful landmark lobby, but room was very small. There was hardly anywhere to put suitcases. We asked for a room with a tub and the check in person said none were available, but when we got to the room it did have a tub.

The hotel had wonderful service and everyone in the house was quick to be welcoming.
The room was a little small.
The Brown Palace Hotel is a first class hotel with amazing service. From the moment we arrived, until we checked out, the service was top notch. The Bananas Foster served in the lobby in the early evening was a nice touch: my kids loved it! The cafe off the lobby made some of the best coffee we have ever had. We look forward to coming to this hotel again!

The food served in the Tavern was outstanding.
Parking was expensive.
I took my wife here for our thirtieth anniversary. The hotel was beautiful on the inside. The room was immaculate and well appointed. The staff was professional and friendly. Unfortunately the main restaurant was closed on Mondays, but the food we were served in the Tavern was outstanding in every way. I can't wait to return again to try out their main restaurant.
