The helpfulness of the staff was great and the cleaning service was amazing. Great hotel in a safe neighborhood 4 blocks from Metro.
A couple of the staff members did not know their way around DC. Ask the bellmen for directions and information.
This hotel is great for all travelers. Though there is no pool, we still had a wonderful time even with small children. For only $20 more per night we upgraded to a Junior Suite. The hotel is clean and a great historic hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and the mini fridge was great. Elevators were fast and room service was delicious.

This is a beautiful hotel that has had a well done restoration. Our room was well appointed and nicer than the Marriott next door.
It is an older hotel with small elevators and limited work out facilities.
This hotel is on Dupont circle and convenient to the Metro. This allowed my family to easily move about the city while being able to walk to very good restaurants. Very clean and well appointed. The staff was very courteous and really knew about Washington D.C. Our experience was well worth.

Nice clean room, spacious bathroom.
Not many toilet items.
Very nice hotel in a great location. Easy access to metro. Good service. We traveled with 2 small children (ages 4 and 1) and we will consider staying here again.

Bathroom separated by door and separate sitting area.
Parking.
The Churchill was very clean with very friendly staff. The room was small but designed comfortably with separate dressing area and bathroom with a door for privacy and a separate alcove-type sitting area with sofa and coffee table.

Housekeeper a little lack.
Easy walk from metro. Hotel is located in a trendy area, Dupont Circle, with restaurants and small shops.

The location was great and the beds were comfortable.
The bathroom in our room could use some work.
Overall our experience was good. The hotel was conveniently located and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom in our room needed to be remodeled. Tiles were old and a bit grimy.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. You could not pay me to stay at this place again.

Clean, comfortable, friendly luxury.
Nothing!
The Churchill is located in a wonderful area, in walking distance to DuPont Circle and the subway in NW Washington. It has fabulous antique architecture, a B&B feel, with the privacy of a hotel. The staff is very attentive, professional, courteous and informed. The history of the building is interesting with fabulous recent renovations. My family and I can't wait to return!
