Price.
Torn fabric on chairs, cost for parking, small / cold pool.
For the price it's not a bad deal. The add says 1 block from the beach, which is not exactly true. It is a couple of blocks away from a Marina, but there is no beach to walk on. Continental breakfast is for one hour only (8am-9am) and consists of fruit and mini muffins. The place was relatively clean but the furniture had several fabric tears exposing foam and chipped wood on dresser. Parking was expensive and minimal at best. Elevator was very slow and took forever. Room doors don't open easily. Swimming pool was very small and freezing cold, making it unusable. No jacuzzi. Staff was friendly and helpful. read more

The bed.
The heat exchange on the balcony made it extremely hot.

Quaint, excellent location, outstanding value for the money.
Stairs, parking in hotel next door.
Lovely boutique hotel, central to restaurants, beach, shopping, etc.

No on-site parking.
Decent renovations, but no on-site parking means you'll be paying almost $20 a day to park next door (and good luck moving your bags during check-in/out).
But you can't cross the street easily and have to walk out of your way to get to a beach. The staff was basic in support, the continental breakfast was sparse and not adequate. Supposed free internet requires a large modem from the front desk that has a very short broadband cable. read more

Great location, friendly, near mall, clean room, soft bed.
One flight of stair to lobby & area small.
It was great, near Ala Moana Mall, across yacht harbor. Everything with-in walking distance stores, restaurant near by but getting to the lobby with lots of bags was a challenge. No soap dish in the shower.

Nice breakfast and
clean room.
Parking was not convenient. It
was in another hotel.
Nice location, but hard to drive around. Traffic makes it tough to get to.
