"Still the queen of the city", this "fantastic" Italian Renaissance "classic" oozes "old-world charm" with "spectacular" public spaces, service that's "superb without being fawning" and a "beautiful" indoor pool; couple that with "lovely" lodging featuring "the most comfortable beds this side of a five-star hotel" (some say rooms are "tired", but an ongoing renovation aims to fix that) and the "always great" Georgian Room restaurant, and this is the place to go.

This was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The room was good sized and was very quiet. The staff was excellent. The lobby was beautiful. The fitness room was the very best.

Absolute attention to detail with discreet efficiency.
There was nothing that could have been done better.

Our visit to the Fairmont Olympic was to celebrate the birthday of an elderly parent. Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, comfortable and the concierge staff was extremely helpful in arranging activities that were appropriate for a senior with limited mobility.
