The rooms were very classy, lovely decor and the grounds were gorgeous.
They were doing construction outside when we arrived.
It is a fabulous resort hotel. The rooms are classy and the staff is extremely helpful. I enjoyed hanging out at the pool and was particularly impressed with king size beds that were set up poolside. They were fun to lounge on. I highly recommend this hotel.

Exceptional service.
Flies in our room.
From the moment we arrived the service was excellent. Front desk staff noticed we had several small children and graciously upgraded us to a larger room. The facilities are wonderful. Will definitely return and recommend to friends!

The Casita suite was spectacular. The bathroom was the best! The staff was very courteous. Location superb! The food upscale and delicious!
My air conditioner did not work.
The Fairmont was the upscale hotel I was looking for after 2 days at the south rim of the Grand Canyon. I felt safe on the grounds. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The rooms were beyond expectation, especially the bathroom. The food was 5 star dining. The beds were very comfortable.

They charged for local telephone call, which I was not aware of. Also, they did not provide free wireless internet access.
Beautiful bar and restaurants. Drinks by the pool were reasonably priced for a hotel. We were upset that they charged for wireless internet access. Also, I made a local call from the room and was charged $1.50 for it?! There are nicer hotels in Scottsdale/PV for the same price, and we won't be staying again.

Unique room layout. Large bathrooms.
Massiveness of grounds made getting around difficult.

The pool side drinks were very pricey.
We stayed at four different hotels over the course of one week while we vacationed in the Scottsdale area. The Fairmont was the last on our list but was excellent for vacation. We all wished that we spent the entire week at this resort!

It was a beautiful facility with lovely rooms.
The (free) workout facility was embarrassingly small!
It was a delightful hotel with excellent service. We did find it a little hard to find our way around because it was a huge property and sign age was just okay. The casual dining restaurant had a wonderful lunch with unusual and yummy and healthy food - but dinner service was slow and food was mediocre.
