The service staff were friendly and eager to help.
Renovations were clearly low-budget and done without any quality assurance.
One of Atlanta's Grand Dames has been turned into a bag lady! Black marble was removed or painted over; hand-laid mosaic tile floors were covered with adhesive-backed marble veneers, and kitchen renovations left cabinets with lopsided doors and the stove with heating elements that didn't fit.

Nice vintage hotel, great view from my room, clean and comfortable bed.
Room was a little small, and parking was very expensive.

Room was clean and beautiful. Location was great.
Staff is not polished, needs better service skills. Charged for a dish to use in my kitchen.
Beautiful, clean, nice roomy rooms and staff was helpful but not polished. Didn't have the professionalism or best communication skills but they were friendly and helpful. Just let you know it wasn't a Hyatt by the way they talked to you. Also odd, I got a full kitchen and they said it was $25 to get dishes to use, there wasn't even a coffee cup to use in the microwave.

Location
Unwilling to work with us to provide a roll-away or a room with a larger bed.
Staff was rude, we got on elevator then had a manager ram a cart full of wedding gifts for a wedding party into me, then they wanted us to squeeze around the cart to get off elevator, unwilling to try and accommodate us.

About a 10 minutes walk from Colonial Williamsburg.
The breakfast buffet was poorly run and out of almost everything.

Building had historical character from 1911.
The room was substandard for a 3.5 star hotel.
The hotel architecture was nice but the room itself was not as nice as a business hotel like a Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn and you don't even get a free continental breakfast or newspaper. Plus I ended up paying more for my stay because they charge a lot for parking and require a $75 deposit with a disclaimer of up to 14 days to return it to your account. I was not happy with the quality I received for my money. read more
