The H Hotel

Very attractive from the outside and in the lobby area. The standard room although very clean nothing special about room. No special little things like hot water, coffee or extras.

Went to this hotel with my daughter who was apartment hunting in Midland. Everything was terrific at this hotel. The fitness center is first class. For a business traveler, you couldn't ask for a better facility.

I would easily rate it as a 4 star hotel, by far the best accommodations and most helpful staff in Midland. The food was way above the expected hotel food.

The hotel's staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. The whole experience made the drive through a terrible snow storm worthwhile.

The H hotel is a little gem in the middle of Michigan. I travel from Toronto to see my son at North-wood University. I enjoy the gym, the cafe, and the atmosphere.

The staff at the hotel and the property were great. Elegant and accommodating. The staff themselves were awesome. For example, the shuttle driver waited for me at the Saginaw airport despite a delayed plane and my filing a claim for lost baggage. All around, though, the staff was very courteous and professional and that is huge during a challenged business trip!

We stayed overnight in a higher quality hotel since my son needed a good night's rest for tennis regional the next morning. Unfortunately, a party erupted in the hallway and room next door, and loud music and extreme noise went on until 1:30 a.m. I finally opened our door and asked them to be quiet, and they were extremely apologetic! It was not the hotel's fault, though.

Hotel situated in a rejuvenated part of Midland downtown, next to a park and walk along the river. Small pool area, but nice.
