The room was very modern.
Parking was inconvenient and the food was too expensive.
The grounds are beautiful as well as the pool and the rooms are very modern. The parking is not convenient even though they have valet parking,

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
There was mildew in my shower area. There was only one valet/bellman on duty when we arrived on Friday night so we had to handle our bags ourselves.

Modern.
Ants in my room service tray.
The parking is farther away and I had ants on my room service food tray. Other than this it was okay.

Park-like location with lake & trails.
Parking was a distant from the entrance.
Lovely setting for this hotel. We enjoyed walking through the grounds observing the autumn colors. The facility was especially nice in the evening as warm, glowing fires were burning in stone fireplaces in the lobby and lounge areas. The lights of the hotel danced in the reflections off of the lake. Nice western suburban location. 10 minutes from Oak Park and Frank Lloyd Wright's home/museum. Convenient to the freeways but not on the freeway. read more

The lobby was very inviting, the fireplace especially. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The parking as far as the convenience wasn't that great, but luckily the hotel offers valet for a reasonable price.
This hotel definitely meets up to their luxury standards. The rooms are lovely, the staff is friendly, and it's in a great location. My partner and I had a great stay here and will definitely return for another romantic experience.

Restaurants and room service shut down at 11 pm. Valet setup is slow. I called 20 minutes ahead to have car ready and it still wasn't there. Overall, a 3 star hotel, doesn't offer all the services of a true 4 star.

Parking was so far away from the hotel. There was no good unloading & check in zone. I parked, walked a mile, schlepped my bags up stairs outside.

The bathroom.
It was kind of hard to get to.
We liked the hotel, the grounds were beautiful, it was nearly empty but we enjoyed our stay.
