A great historic hotel and a must stay for all travelers.
Everything was great.

This is a great romantic place for any who want to get away with their significant other. Great history for the buffs who like Thomas Jefferson and the scenery of Richmond.

Lobby & mezzanine are beautiful.
Food & food service was not good.

This hotel is rated as the "only 5 star" within the region. I have no idea what makes it a 5 star. Yes, it's grand & historic; however, the rooms are nothing special, food was awful, & they were understaffed. Pretty place to stop in & see or have tea; however, I would never stay there again. The Omni is a 4 star, nicer, & half the price.

Outstanding service, excellent food.

Beautiful renovated old hotel in the heart of Richmond. Excellent service and fine dining. One of few truly elegant hotels in existence.

It's beautiful, wonderful restaurant, extremely professional staff.
The windows in our room were a bit high to the sill.

This is an absolutely beautiful, historic hotel with a very professional and accommodating staff. We have stayed at the Jefferson Hotel many times and are never disappointed in it. As a matter of fact, we try to get to Richmond for a couple a days every year just to enjoy the museums and the Jefferson Hotel.

Excellent historical hotel. Excellent and excellent food.
Room was a poor reflection of the common area. Bed was not comfortable at all; wake up with aches and pain.

Upon entering the main lobby you are immediately greeted with history and charm of a grand hotel. The staff was wonderful in meeting your every need. Although there is wonderful history and rich heritage, the room itself could use some overhaul to make it a bit more modern. The bed was particular uncomfortable and the pillows were equally the same.

Restaurant Lemaire was outstanding.
No coffee machine in room.

Old world elegance and calm in Richmond, VA. A very great hotel experience. Well worth the money.

The front desk and concierge were great, they upgrade us with smiles.
They need to upgrade the TV¿s in the rooms.

I thought it was a grand, old hotel, and the people working at all levels were helpful and genuinely nice. What can way they upgraded our room when we asked. A great experience. I wished we had been able to eat in the restaurant- it looked beautiful, and was designated many stars.
