Description of The Mansion On Forsyth Park, A Kessler Hotel
Savannah design is woven throughout this historic landmark. The Mansion on Forsyth Park exhibits dramatic architecture, interiors, and gardens to create an extraordinary environment perfect for memorable getaways, meetings, and events. The Victorian Romanesque, two-story brick and terra cotta Mansion features turret and heavy arches that represent drama and fantasy. The interior of the Mansion features 14 and 15 feet ceilings, original oak millwork, mahogany and teak paneling and molding, hard wood floors, and a beautiful grand staircase. The lobby, restaurant, two bars and the Grand Bohemian Art Gallery will be located in the main hotel. The hotel will feature a culinary art cooking school with daily and weekly programs that can accommodate up to 16 people. The hotel accepts small dogs (under 20 lbs.). Only one dog per room. There is a $100 non-refundable pet cleaning fee, per room, per stay. Additional charges may apply for any damage to room. All rooms are non-smoking, $250 fee for smoking in room. read more

I liked the hospitality of the staff!!
The room smelled a bit stale and there were no bags in the trash cans and no bath tub.

Stayed here for a romantic weekend with my fiancee. The hotel staff
was excellent and the accommodations were great. The adjoining restaurant was excellent.

will be writting to hotel manager re. miserable experience

don't even think that this is a 4 star hotel. the room was not cleaned well and for two nights we had wedding receptions just below us. did they care...not a bit.

Did not have a ceiling fan.

Enjoyed our over-night stay. Shuttle service was a great way to get to the river. The park across the street was beautiful.

It was absolutely a beautiful romantic place to get away!
Mandatory valet parking fees should be free. With no other parking options anyway - why make a guest feel pressured?

This was a surprise getaway to celebrate my lover's birthday. In the end, we were both surprised. The staff was incredibly nice; upgrading us to the Bohemian Suite at check-in was a pleasant surprise. We took advantage of room service the first night we arrived after a long drive down from Atlanta - the food far surpassed anything I'd ever ordered from room service in the past. I've had the luxury of visiting many 4 and 5-star hotels over the past 20-30 years. The Mansion exceeds any other experience I've ever had. We'll be recommending the hotel as well as Priceline to all of my constituents. Thank you for the memories! read more

Room not made up at 4:00 PM. Little apology.

The most appalling, garish hotel decor you can imagine. Comfortable room, but after a hot day touring Savannah, we returned to find the room not made up at 4 PM. Strained apology by manager, with little sincerity.

Decoration in general, in room was nice and original Staff very kind. Bed and mattress were wonderful.
The unexpected daily U$12 resort fee charged in addition to payment. U$ 19 valet parking too high.
