Great location.
Outdated rooms.
Plenty of soup kitchens in the nieghborhood, portlands problem but not the hotels. Prime location for nightlife. Close to jakes crawfish house and powells bookstore.

When I don't have to think about the hotel and concentrate fully on the purpose of the trip, the hotel is great. This hotel was great.
The entrance is unusual, narrow, unappealing.
