I can't really think of any thing that stands out right now.
The room was not real clean. They put us in the wrong room but still charged us for the bigger room.
I would not go out of my way to stay there again if I could find somewhere else to go.

So close to the ocean you can hear the waves. Prefect place for ocean viewing.
Slow old elevators.
The location is about a 10 minute drive to the Daytona Beach board walk area very nice. The hotel is on the beach we saw a beautiful morning sunrise over the Ocean. I asked at the front desk when checking in for an ocean view room. They said all of the rooms are ocean view. I would stay there again and recommend it to my fussiest of friends. The only small complaint that my girlfriend mentioned was that there was no center top for your things in the bathroom. read more

Cozy, convenient, and good surroundings.
Having to move from one room to the other the following day.
I liked the hotel especially the first room we stayed in. I didn't like the second room nor did I like the fact that I had to get up early to have to change rooms the next day for an untold reason.

Great location, right on the ocean front.
The facility is old and need of repair. The bathroom sink was non functional in our room.
The hotel is currently under some repair or maintenances. Unable to use the stairs supposedly due to recent painting. Elevators extremely slow and old. Our overall experience was one of adequacy. Not extremely bad and not good¿

No carpet- clean and ocean view.
Small bed.
Great place to stay! The only thing I would have changed is the size of the bed- only queen size- no king or doubles.

On the beach, clean pool, fairly clean rooms.
Undone remodeling, paint fumes, construction equipment, poor elevators.
The staff was great. Went during bike week-of course-too loud but expected. The place was under remodeling but appeared half done in some places and left that way. Elevators had hole in floor and open ceilings in lobby bathrooms, loose or broken fixtures many places-was dangerous at times.

Location was great, remodeled rooms excellent.
Moved to an older out of date room.
Great location, remodeled rooms are romantic, this is a timeshare condos that are rented out, Saturdays are the start of a new week can be hectic. Ask when you check in if you will be staying in the same condo for the entire stay. We were moved as were several other people.

Recently remodeled room.
Lobby and lounge were decrepit.
The Maverick is making a comeback. There is a concerted effort to bring rooms up to today's standard. My room was nice but they must take time to get the common space looking good.
