Front desk staff was helpful.
Nicely appointed room but a bit on the small side.
Nice boutique hotel that is at a good price through Priceline.

The room had a funky decor.
The hotel bar played terrible music. The wine tasted horrible and I was unable to drink it.

After Priceline negotiated the hotel, I called the hotel to request two double beds and a rollway for each room. The rooms assigned were one king size.
Bed in each room and no room for a rollaway.

It was a hotel that made me feel very upscale.
The hotel room was a little small, but still comfortable.
This hotel was extremely nice, romantic, and well worth the money. The staff was the most helpful staff of any hotel I have ever stayed at. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

After researching this hotel, I was well prepared for the accommodations provided at this hotel. The rooms, while nice, were quite small. The bed pretty much fills the room. For my purposes, it was fine but others might find the rooms a bit too confining. The public space is also quite limited. The hotel staff was generally attentive. Proximity to public transportation, North end, and government center is ideal. read more

The staff were absolutely wonderful ..very quick to meet any request possible.
Rooms too small ..not 2 beds in a room.
For small size of rooms and lack of a lobby I would rate this a 3 star hotel.

Convenient location to everything and friendly staff.
Amenities such as lotion and shower cap were not in the room.
Excellent service and location. Would definitely recommend it and would stay on our next visit to Boston.

Location.
No in room coffee service; hard to get a cab.
Good location near the North end of Boston, TD garden (sports arena, convenient to beacon hill and (parts of) freedom trail by foot and very convenient to public transportation (the "T"). breakfast service was disappointing as well as alternative restaurants in immediate vicinity.

The room was very comfortable, with excellent amenities.
The breakfast buffet was a little pricey for a family, but about average for a couple.
The Onyx Hotel accommodations exceeded my expectations, and the staff were very helpful, courteous and very friendly. I would stay here again.
