Location was great.
The hotel was in poor condition and without adequate staff.

The location of this hotel was very good. It was very close to shopping and restaurant areas. Unfortunately it has seen better days and the common areas weren't clean and needed freshening up. The staff was non-existent for anything other than check-in, but the few that were there were polite and tried to be helpful.

It was a nice room and the lobby was attractive.
They make you pay to park your own car, the staff was unresponsive, the ATM didn't work, and the room wasn't ready.

After paying my price to stay here my room wasn't ready at 4 pm! They made us pay $10 for parking. The ATM was broken. The charge wasn't split properly, and I may have paid twice. When we phoned the front desk to ask for something they never brought it up and acted as if we shouldn't have asked.

The location of this hotel was excellent! Good value.
The room was not available upon check-in time.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Saratoga area. Excellent location, friendly staff. Lovely amenities. The $20 valet parking was rather expensive.

Refrigerator was delivered full of dirty water and someone else's ice pack.

Not enough staff, staff was friendly, but most times you got an answering machine and no one called back. The TV remotes did not work, we had them changed about 5 times, still did not work. Maid was not good, refrigerator was delivered full of dirty water and someone else's ice pack. Soap not delivered. Sheets were not done properly. Lobby was stark. I thought it odd that they totally emptied it in the evening. The gift shop/store closed at 7 pm. Charged $20 for valet parking. read more

They charge $20 for valet service for a 50 ft walk. Free parking is available on the street, but they are the only hotel that charges for parking and you don't know the parking is available till it's too late. I asked for a fridge, it arrived full of water and someone else's ice pack. Asked for towels and a blanket, never came, waste basket was not emptied, they put my toothbrush (electic) on the toilet) sheets were not put on the bed properly, mattress was showing. When you called the front desk, maintenance, etc, you got an answering machine and no one returned your calls. The concierage was very helpful, but everyone mentioned tipping, which is not terribly classy. read more
