The Shelbourne Hotel

The public facilities at this hotel are 5 star. The room is small but the bed is super comfy. The bathroom is so small that you could use the toilet and wash your hands in the sink if needed.

The staff was pleasant and the public rooms very attractive; however, we were in the newer addition which lacked the character and the architectural detail of the historic old building.
And where is the swimming pool? I used the exercise center on the second floor but saw no sign directing me to a pool.

Quite superb - from the outstanding service to the beautifully furnished and immaculately clean rooms.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic City-Center location. Steps from St. Steven's Green and walking distance to everything you'd want to see in the city. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommended. Top notch.

From the door-man to the front desk staff to the concierge, an awesome experience! The hotel is in a great location in front of Stephens Green and just 2 blocks from Grafton street. Hop-on Hop-off bus right outside hotel made getting around and touring very easy. The pool being closed and the over-priced restaurant with disorganized staff were the only negatives. The rooms we had were really great and our overall experience at the hotel was excellent. Just dine elsewhere! read more

The Shelbourne is a lovely hotel located in a very convenient place in Dublin City. It is directly across the street from a beautiful park and within walking distance to the many sites. The staff was warm and welcoming from the minute we walked into the door to the last step out of the hotel to our next destination.
