Staff graciously changed our room when I discovered we did not have a king bed.
There was no swimming pool.
The Stanford Court remains the charming hotel I recall from decades ago, even after renovations. The staff is superb.

Location, style, convenience and amenities.
They charged $15/day for internet access.
A great location and a beautiful facility made the Stanford court the perfect hotel for our vacation. We found it so easy to get around the city from the Stanford Court and would recommend it to friends.

Modern.
Located at the top of a large hill which makes walking a bit tedious at times.

Great location and lovely room.
The fixtures were old, so shower was poor and air con was loud. There was no fridge in room either.
I liked the hotel overall and the rooms were comfortable and nice. However, it is an ld building that new Air conditioning units and new plumbing. I felt it was a bit over priced considering it did not include breakfast, did not have a fridge and there were no robes or added touches like that. I was impressed with the gym though, and the location is great.
