We were 20 minutes early and the room wasn't ready, however we could pay additional $40 for an upgrade of a room. Did not believe the room was not ready!

but not very good.

Hotel was a quite old but was well kept. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with planning our days.

Luxurious linens on the bed went perfectly with rest of room.
$50+ per night to park a car.

Beautiful hotel. Fabulous service from all of the staff, bell hop, valet, and check-in. Room was comfortable with luxurious linens on the bed, nice furniture, and temperature controls that quickly got the room to the temperature we wanted but didn't unleash some loud, abrasive fan noise to do it. My only two complaints about the hotel would be that it costs $50+ to park your car there, whether you self-park or valet. There was a garage across the street that charged only $24/day. The hotel restaurant wanted $29 for a breakfast buffet, or $18 for pancakes from the menu. read more

Beds were amazingly comfortable and staff was friendly.
Construction on the floor we were on.

The hotel was excellent and it was a pleasure to stay there. The staff was friendly and the accommodations were wonderful. The location was good, but travelers should plan to either walk or take a taxi if they want to eat at a local restaurant since parking is very limited in the area.

I had a corner room, which also had a wraparound corner balcony.
The room decor was a bit stuffy and dated.

The best part about this hotel is that it is a high rise building in an area that is generally devoid of other high rises, so the views of the city are absolutely phenomenal from every room. If you can get a room with a corner balcony, those are the best. The design of the rooms themselves are definitely dated, with lots pastels and frilly looking floor lamps and the like. It's not a style that would appeal to a young person or anyone with a modern style sensibility. read more
