"Get swept away" at this "Italian gem in the desert", a "huge", "all-suite" "city under one roof" in the "center of the Strip", touting "luxurious rooms", "endless quality dining" (from top toques like David Burke and Mario Batali), an "attentive staff", plus an on-site Canyon Ranch Spa and "great shopping" along the Grand Canal "mall" ("take a gondola ride"); though some bemoan the "maze"-like design, admirers ask "why would you ever leave?"; N.B. it shares amenities with its sister, Palazzo.

Food, drinks and convieniency items
way over-priced. Pool over-clorinated (at least I think that's what it was!).

Loved the hotel and staff. I would try a different hotel next time though $20 for 2 regular mixed drinks.

Beautiful hotel.
The rooms in the suite were not separated by a wall.

The Venetian Hotel is a huge, beautiful structure packed with fun things to see and do. I could spend a week there and never leave the building. The rooms are beautifully furnished and quite spacious.

Staff was very friendly. Food was wonderful. Room service was fast.

Lounge chairs too close together at pool.

This is an awesome hotel. One of the nicest in Vegas. The service is top notch and the cleanliness is excellent. Everything is there. You don't even need to leave the hotel.

Ambiance, service, restaurants, & location on the strip.
Nothing.

The Grand Canal with its restaurants & shopping and beautiful decor are beyond belief. The design of the casino is very friendly with more to see than most resorts on the strip (for beauty, & romance of Italy).

Centrally located, luxurious and accommodating.
Take a cooler! Hotel mini fridge is weight monitored.

Overall I had a great stay but was disappointed that they were unwilling to remove their items from the _weight monitored mini fridge_ so that I might use it. Bring your own cooler and you'll be fine.
