"Get swept away" at this "Italian gem in the desert", a "huge", "all-suite" "city under one roof" in the "center of the Strip", touting "luxurious rooms", "endless quality dining" (from top toques like David Burke and Mario Batali), an "attentive staff", plus an on-site Canyon Ranch Spa and "great shopping" along the Grand Canal "mall" ("take a gondola ride"); though some bemoan the "maze"-like design, admirers ask "why would you ever leave?"; N.B. it shares amenities with its sister, Palazzo.

Nice rooms, and pretty interior.
The rooms didn't have free water, tea or coffee, no hairdryer in the bathroom. The valet parking was awful, had to wait for 2 hours to get the car.

The rooms are nice, but there were no free water, tea or coffee in the room. The valet parking service was awful. After checking out we had to wait for almost 2 hours to get our car back.

Room
Decor seemed a bit faded.

Nice room but casino and public spaces seem dated; non-stop Phantom of the Opera music would drive anyone crazy.

Ambiance is excellent.
No significant complaint.

Though it is a casino, the hotel is elegant, very comfortable, romantic, and accessible.

Room, casino, shows.
Signage not always explicit enough.

Beautiful setting, large luxurious rooms, and great staff make this a wonderful experience.

Room was attractive and well furnished with amenities.
Not possible to leave car to regisiter, then self park.

Parking attendants were not helpful with regard to registration procedure if self parking. Getting from self park to registration desk required considerable navigating without much in the way of direction. Not a positive start to the hotel experience.

The theme was excellent, ceiling painting, Grand Canal, restaurants, best shows!
Several great polls, but very crowed by 10:00am, hard to find two lounge chairs.

The Venetian theme was excellent, the ceiling painting were spectacular, the Grand Canal and shops were amazing, fantastic quality restaurants, best three shows in Vegas! Blue man Group/Jersey Boys/Phantom of the Opera!

The staff was very friendly and the room was beautiful
The pool was only 5 feet deep

We upgraded our room to the Palazzo with a view of the strip. The upgrade was well-worth-it.

Courteous hotel staff all round.
Housekeeping needs work, room was dusty when we checked in and never got dusted the duration of our stay, YUK!

Although the hotel is very nice and grand the housekeeping leaves a bit to be desired. When we checked in the mini bar had not been checked, we found an half of a sandwich left by a previous guest. Nothing had been dusted in quite some time and never was touched the entire duration of our stay. Vacuuming had not been done in some time, glass rings on tables not cleaned off. Instead of towels being replenished the first day, they were rehung on the shower door. read more
