I liked the large king size bed.
I prefer hotels with hot tubs and I assumed this would have had one for its class.

The concierge person was a little condescending, no hot tub, $5.50 for coffee is just ridiculous. I was there on business and I felt bad for buying a one.

Bed linens, locations, functional lobby and restaurant.
Decor was dark and dreary.

Liked their environmental policies.

Better than expected, clean and big.
All the extra charges, Parking, phone (local $1.50+), and the internet.

Very nice, big, clean, and quiet but it was obviously a quiet week. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Fairly close to downtown shopping, short drive to Rexall, comfortable beds (but they are doubles).
No hot tub! Elevators were always going the wrong way, saunas were only accessible in washrooms, double beds not queen, and the parking was too expensive!

The parkade parking was outrageously expensive. We were prepared for $15/night but it was closer to $30 - I had booked rooms for 2 other families and everyone was upset about the parking. We found that you can park for $4/night 1 block away from the hotel. We took the kids swimming right away. There were no hot tub! The adults weren't impressed. After our swim we discovered there were no towels - we ended up riding back to our room in the elevator sopping wet. The elevators were another story. There was a wedding in the hotel, so we had a 10 minute elevator ride to our hotel room on the 19th floor. We'd go down and then up and then down instead of to our room! If I didn't have small children I would have taken the stairs. The rooms were clean, but the beds seemed small to us - we were expecting queens and they were double. Our son fell out of bed in the night and hurt himself. The single bottle of water in the room was offered for the price of $6. It was the same water offered for less than $1 at local stores. The Westin is a nice quality hotel, they have a good reputation. We unfortunately had a terrible experience at this hotel - the only time I can really say we've been disappointed enough to complain. read more

The room was spacious and the bedding was wonderful.
There is no free parking. It cost $28 per night to park our car.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Westin in the future. Our room was very comfortable. I was disappointed with the fact that nothing was included with the room - you had to pay for parking, Internet, etc. Surprising for a hotel of this caliber.

Very close to Downtown and the relax center, nice location and generally a nice hotel.
The pool was less than expected and disappointed that they charge for everything from water to local calls.

We like this hotel it was close to our location of the Relax center. The rooms were nice and very clean and comfortable. The pool was a disappointment the pictures on their website make the pool look better than it was. And disappointing that they charge for everything. We liked the hotel but did not feel that it was up to it's star rating.

The best thing about this hotel was its location and its proximity to the transit system and covered walkways.
The general feel was dull.
