As the "former home of the Ritz-Carlton", this hotel inherited its "plush", "old-world" decor and "excellent" Downtown location "in the business section" of Philly "close to the museums", while "updated rooms have all of the Westin conveniences" including "Heavenly beds"; friends find the staff "pleasant", while foes call them "diffident" and "untrained", so though it's a "solid" choice, it offers "nothing memorable."

The interior design, rooms, corridors, and lobby - all done very well.

Overall, a great hotel and would recommend for anyone staying in Philadelphia. From the hotel rooms and bathrooms down to the hotel lobby, everything seemed to be of high quality, and well done Interior design throughout. With only positive comments, I was very pleased with my stay at the Westin- Philadelphia.

The location was great and the bed was certainly heavenly.
Staff was not that friendly or accommodating.

This hotel is in a great neighborhood. Rooms are comfortable, clean and the bed is great. Staff was a bit curt and could not accommodate a double bed room despite assuring me one when I call the morning of the day I was checking into the hotel.

Two elevators in order to get to your room.

Very comfortable beds and plush rooms with over sized bathrooms.

Valet parking was $45 per night.

Hotel is well located in Center city. Hotel staff is very accommodating and eager to assist. The rooms are attractive with usual Westin heavenly beds which are very comfortable. The hotel restaurant is very good and well-priced for dinner. It seems to be under-used each time I have been there which is a shame, as the food is from local vendors and quite well-prepared. A good experience for the price. Highly recommend. read more
