"In the center of a culturally vibrant Downtown area" "minutes away from Pioneer Place", this chain outpost with a "pleasant, professional" staff has "perfectly furnished" rooms "for the demanding business traveler"; though gourmets gripe there's "no really good restaurant" and "nothing notable" about the facilities, the "charming neighborhood" with dining options is a plus; N.B. it's slated for renovations in 2009.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The location was great, and it was easy to walk to many attractions and restaurants!

Friendly helpful staff, beautiful room, and comfortable bed.
Maid tried to come in to room early Sunday, before check out time.

Downtown Portland is a beautiful city. The Westin is within 2 blocks of a major hub of the amazing public transportation system, in the heart of the Free Fare Zone. It is within walking distance of many fabulous restaurants and shopping opportunities. The staff are friendly and courteous, the rooms spacious and comfortable. All around it was an amazing stay.

Very standard rooms. No deluxe amenities.

The rooms are very standard - no deluxe amenities. Although there was a separate tub from the shower, it was not very deep. The library room off the lobby was comfortable and pleasant - nicer to hang out in than our room! There is a charge for internet in the rooms, but it is available for free in the lobby/library. Overall, a nice hotel for the Priceline price (but not for their published rates!) read more

Room only had 1 chair; parking was expensive.

The Westin Portland is conveniently located downtown. The desk staff was very helpful with finding restaurants and directions.

The hotel front desk was amazing accommodating our every need.
Barking dogs in a room nearby.

Hotel is in an excellent location, close to shopping, restaurants and public transportation. Rooms are quiet, other than dogs and children. Hotel staff is gracious and accommodating.
