Pool & Jacuzzi were filthy, unusable, not maintained and shower was rundown & dirty.

Worst was the pool/Jacuzzi situation, water was dirty, unforgivable that a major hotel was not maintaining a major facility. Shower was run down, not completely clean. Internet and parking charges were excessive. Staff was friendly, very good location, a good hotel but defects that really should deprive it of a 4 star rating.

Service was top notch. Bedding was excellent.
The hotel is in need of renovations. Carpets inside and outside the room were full of stains. Bathroom was spotless, but worn-loose baseboards, tiles.

The Westin in Providence has seen better days. It is clearly in need of renovations. It is very clean and the staff was wonderful, but you can tell that everything is worn, from stains on the carpets to peeling wallpaper.
