The "beautiful setting" "on the tail end of the Riverwalk" ("quiet at night, but still walkable to all the hoopla") is the main "attraction" of this chain outpost that "personalizes" the "fantastic Westin name" "with Southern charm" and "generous hospitality"; the "spacious" rooms are "outstanding" (especially those "overlooking" the river) and while the food "could be better", "there are lots of restaurants within minutes" (and plans for a new on-site eatery).

The beds were very comfortable.
The pool was
very crowded and not very crowd friendly.

I have stayed here a few times and will come back! The only thing that I find to be a downfall is the pool area. Its not very big.

Everyone was extremely pleasant. Massages/wraps were devine!
So hard to locate w/o better signage - went around the block twice even with GPS.

I would recommend the Westin San Antonio to everyone. All was exquisite.

Location, the staff, the lovely decor, the access to the river.
Humidity.

Loved the stay even if it was just for one night. I loved the staff. I recommend this hotel for everyone and anyone who loved luxury. Very nice room, but a little small. Stayed in a room with a river view but it was on the 12th floor. Not a very good view, just make sure if you get a room with a river view, its lower to the ground.

Easy walk to many attractions, restaurants.
Parking expensive, inconvenient, $10/day for internet!

The staff and hotel location were excellent. Parking was difficult and expensive. WiFi is free most places. Time to remodel. The carpet and furniture is showing some wear. On balance, a good stay but could be better.

The boutique feels of the service and attention to detail.
Did not know Wi-Fi was available or laundry detergent/dry cleaning.

A pleasant and relaxing stay is guaranteed at this resort. More on site vacation info could be placed in the rooms but we felt like we were staying in a luxury condo and that was just the studio suite. The restaurant was prepared to modify any menu item and the food was delicious and special. Very clean and prompt.
