The "beautiful setting" "on the tail end of the Riverwalk" ("quiet at night, but still walkable to all the hoopla") is the main "attraction" of this chain outpost that "personalizes" the "fantastic Westin name" "with Southern charm" and "generous hospitality"; the "spacious" rooms are "outstanding" (especially those "overlooking" the river) and while the food "could be better", "there are lots of restaurants within minutes" (and plans for a new on-site eatery).

Very clean, staff was friendly. No major issues.
Pool said it was heated, but it was cold. Not major.

Clean, comfortable room. Bed wasn't the most comfy, but it was decent. Hotel was right off the River Walk which was nice. Staff was friendly. Parking is across the street. $15 for overnight. Parking garage is billed by the hour, so if you're only there for a little while it's less.

We were curious about some of the antiques the hotel had used to decorate public spaces, and the concierge was kind enough to show them to us.

The location and amenities.
Dealing with the hotel staff over the double charge issue. They kept telling me they would call me back and never did. It was frustrating.

The only thing I would like to see changed, is the staff be more consistent with customer service. I left a charger in the hotel and asked that it be mailed. The guy said they would get back with me on the amount it would costs because I wanted to make sure that I had enough money in my checking account, he said he would call me back and let me know, only to find out the next day my account was charged for the room and the charger with out my consent which put my checking account in a negative as other items hit my card from the weekend stay. This has caused me much unnecessary stress and bills unpaid. read more

Within walking distance to most places i wanted to go
hard to find due to where the sign was on the building.

Very nice place to stay. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Meeting rooms were nice and accommodated our meeting well.
