The hotel staff - especially security - works hard to make things right.

Everyone was extremely pleasant. Massages/wraps were devine!
So hard to locate w/o better signage - went around the block twice even with GPS.
I would recommend the Westin San Antonio to everyone. All was exquisite.

Relaxing and convenient.
No complaints.
The hotel was on the nice quiet end of the river walk but still close enough to plenty of attractions. The bed was absolutely incredible. The hotel staff friendly and helpful however, when explaining our parking options. We were told we could valet park for $25 per day or we could park across the street in the garage for $15 a day but would be expected to pay $15 every time we left. Because my husband hates to wait for the valet to pull our car around, we opted to park across the street in the garage (barely a hop, skip and a jump.) However we then learned that it was $15 per day (all day) or broken down by the hour if you decided to leave and come back. We both felt misled. The garage option was definitely a more convenient option for our family. The hotel was very nice overall. read more

Very friendly, helpful staff.
We requested two beds, but upon checking, there was only a king bed.
The west in river walk was a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We did have a few problems. Not the right kind of room and a stopped up toilet. We enjoyed our stay!

Our room was fabulous. We needed more room than the room that we had reserved and they were very accommodating.
I can't think of anything about this hotel that we didn't like.
We continue to have great results when we book our rooms through it. This was another fantastic experience a super hotel and a very affordable price. We couldn't be happier with it!

The customer service and attention to detail. Every staff member had a delightful welcoming attitude.
It was a wonderful experience.
This trip was especially meaningful as my daughter had just reached a milestone in her life and her and I were celebrating. From the moment that we arrived until the moment of departure her experience was so incredible. She said to me Mom, I have never had such wonderful days as the time we have had these past few days. I will always remember this trip and always cherish it. I can not put in words what this means to a single mom whose purpose in life is to give her children memories like these. Thank you for making this trip one of these memories. My field is marketing, recruiting and training for companies that #1 goal is customer service and satisfaction. It is not always as common to find this quality in business as it is what they preach in their advertising. I can truly say that this staff at this hotel, certainly exemplified the meaning of customer service and will recommend this establishment! read more

It was beautiful and clean and very posh.
We did not like that the internet costs money.
It was amazing. It was on the water in San Antonio and it was beautiful inside and out. It was the most plush hotel we had ever stayed in. The lobby and balcony areas were extremely nice and the hotel room itself was just as nice as the rest of the hotel. Beautiful beds and duvets and nice big bathrooms with all the extras.

Beautiful location, comfortable beds.
Noisy on street side, few amenities-had to pay for everything, no roll away available for son.
For the price of this hotel there were no "free" amenities such as free continental breakfast or happy hour. My husband and I are both tall and generally need to take up one double bed a piece. We asked for a roll away for our fourteen year old son and were told that we could not have one because the room was not big enough to accommodate it. We have stayed at several hotels with smaller rooms and had no problems getting a roll away for him. The drinks in the hotel bar were very expensive and not nearly as good as those just a few blocks away on the Riverfront (which were also cheaper.) A bottle of water in the hotel room cost $5.00 if we used it. Fortunately, there was free coffee in the room, but only enough for one pot and if we wanted more there was a $6.00 charge. In comparing this hotel to the Holiday Inn Express Motels that we stayed in elsewhere on our vacation or even to an Embassy Suites, this hotel came up sadly lacking in services and amenities provided to its customers. read more
