A beautiful, copper platter greets you at check-in, filled with El Rey Latin American specialty chocolates. Relaxing and convenient, the Alamo, La Villita, Market Square and the Convention Center are all just minutes away. Meeting planners will appreciate The Westin Riverwalk's 23,000 square feet of meeting space, and all guests will enjoy the soothing, comfortable rooms, most with balconies overlooking the river. Rejuvenate in the state-of-the-art WestinWORKOUT Gym or relax with a soothing spa service. Dine at Zocca, a rustic-style Italian restaurant located on the River Walk. Our 473 oversized guest rooms and 66 suites are all decorated in a style reminiscent of historic Texas. Take in the beautiful river and city views, and relax in our signature Heavenly Bed. The "beautiful setting" "on the tail end of the Riverwalk" ("quiet at night, but still walkable to all the hoopla") is the main "attraction" of this chain outpost that "personalizes" the "fantastic Westin name" "with Southern charm" and "generous hospitality"; the "spacious" rooms are "outstanding" (especially those "overlooking" the river) and while the food "could be better", "there are lots of restaurants within minutes" (and plans for a new on-site eatery).

The hotel was beautifully decorated and the room was definitely luxurious. The staff was extremely helpful and the checkin was the quickest I have ever experienced. The balcony afforded no privacy as the balconies below were over sized and you could see and hear the people on the floor below when they were outside on their balcony.

No coffee in the lobby area.

I would definitely choose this hotel again. The entire staff was helpful and friendly, along with being very professional.

The mattress was great; the concierge was the best.
During "fiesta", it was hard to get to the hotel.

We found the Westin River walk to be comfortable, located near lots of fun things to do, with the most helpful concierge in the world. We love the hotel and San Antonio.

Understated decor, good breakfasts, marvelous mattresses,
Valet parking charge is too high elevators poorly placed.

A quietly elegant hotel on the San Antonio river with good food and good concierge service. The mattresses in the rooms are the best of any hotel where I have stayed.
