This "circular", "sprawling" Downtown chaninster "in the center of everything" ("convenient to shopping and not far from other attractions") is a "dependable" "standby for business and leisure", touting "large", "updated" rooms (be sure to get one on a "higher floor" with a "view of the city") outfitted with Heavenly beds, "top-notch restaurants" and a "nice gym"; still, the disgruntled dis "tired" rooms in "need of a makeover."

Excellent location, comfy beds, friendly staff.
Can't quite put my finger on it but something about the rooms (wall coverings? tub?) made the hotel feel more like a 3 - 3.5 star rather than a 4.

Wonderful location, view, well appointed room with great beds.
Surfaces in the room were dusty, although it was otherwise clean.

Wonderful choice for downtown Seattle. Very welcoming staff. I was invited to join their rewards program and when I did we were upgraded to a view room in the North tower. Room was very well appointed and up to date. Heavenly beds. Only downside of the room was that surfaces were dusty (almost like room hadn't been occupied recently). We didn't bother to complain about this as we aren't very fussy. Free internet in the lobby was a nice feature. Fortunately, our stay was on a Sunday so we got free street parking (parkade was $38). Prices were also hefty for room service and in-room internet (neither of which we utilized) - typical for this type of hotel. Our stay was relaxing and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

Westin beds are very comfortable.
The room seemed very run-down and worn out. Was not very clean - with cobwebs in the corners and dirty coffee cup lids.
