Friendly staff.
Location & parking.
This hotel was not in a great location. It was difficult to get to as many areas around it looked unsafe. The amenities were OK, but not what was expected for the number of stars this hotel was given. I would not stay here again.

The staff was very friendly. I liked that it was a 12 noon check out time.
The beds and bedding need to be updated.

The ambiance, the staff and the location. The food was excellent and it was quiet and very clean.
I can't think of one thing.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who was visiting York for one day or an extended period. It is situated in the center of the city and close to everything.

The staff was very helpful.
The hotel, while a nicely maintained older facility, is in need of updated in rooms.

It was a historical place with a certain ambiance.
Beds were hard.
The room was in quite poor condition and the mattress hard as a rock.

I
did like the farmers market nearby.
We were there for four days and the room was never cleaned in between.
The parking is not really convenient and the furniture is very run down. Would not recommend.
