Lots to do and lots of dining choices on the property.
Somewhat noisy at night.

We would love to return for a longer visit next time to better take advantage of all there is to do at the Trade winds. The room was spotless, spacious and extremely comfortable. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. There were many good restaurants on the property as well as lots of fun activities which families can enjoy.

Beautiful facility with all you would want in a 4 star.
Sofa was very uncomfortable.

They are smart enough to bribe someone to get 4 stars.
Everything.

This is not a 4 star hotel. I would compare it to a super 8 with a nice lobby on the beach. The room was small with cheap wicker furniture and an old TV. In addition there is a mandatory $25 resort fee that you get surprised by when you check out. Even during the week in the middle of November and on the fourth floor you get to enjoy the drunk college kids shouting in the middle of the night. read more

Lots of activities.
Two roaches in one room switched rooms to find a wasp in the am in our new room. Need to spray for bugs!

Hotel was impressive when we first arrived and went downhill quickly as our evening began, thank God we were only there one night. As soon as lights were turned off huge roach crawls in bed. and as we're getting ready to switch rooms another big roach climbs the curtains. We switch rooms and we slept with lights on so roaches would not come out. In all honesty I wanted to switch hotels all together. It was a major inconvenience! Had to switch rooms close to midnight with sick toddler in the midst of all this. My 7 year old daughter ran to me in the morning to wake me up to tell me about a wasp that was flying in the suite side were our toddler was sleeping. Nightmare of a stay! I would never recommend. Need to spray for bugs in rooms! read more

Room was very nice.
$25.00 a day resort fee was ridiculous.

Very nice hotel right on beach, resort fee should be optional.

The hotel had Aqua aerobics and yoga classes.
Nothing.

The Tradewinds Grand was a wonderful hotel. It had an adult only pool, aqua aerobics classes, yoga, a great spa and great music in the tiki bar.

Closeness to ocean, clean and helpful.

Best part of our vacation was our stay at the "hotel"-wish we spent it all there. We will next time for sure.
