Helpful staff and central location within the city.
Bathroom was small and hard to move around in.
Great for the price and location. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs a cheap, but nice place to crash when in Chicago. Next to Millennium Park, The Art Institute and public transportation.

Location & price!
Ineffective temperature control in room.
The Travelodge was in a perfect location (1/2 block from Michigan Ave.) for tourism or business. It was a short taxi fare from the train station and well-located to see the sights. This was the lowest price we have ever paid in downtown Chicago and will stay there again via Priceline.

The staff at the front desk were very nice and knew the area well.
There were bugs in the bathroom.
The front desk staff were very friendly. They made recommendations for meals that were wonderful. The rooms were small and needed a new coat of paint. The bathroom had bugs in the sink, but overall not bad for the price. The location was nicely situated downtown. The parking was across the road, but they forgot to tell us to get our ticket validated at the hotel so we paid an extra $12. read more

The location for the price.
For the price of this hotel it met my expectations. We were only going to be in the hotel to sleep and shower and then be off sightseeing. The side of the hotel we were on faced the el train so if you are a light sleeper you may want to request a different side of the building. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. I will stay there again next time I visit the city. read more
