Travelodge Portland Airport

Too delipidated, badly need of uplifting. I expected more for a Travelodge. I have stayed at lower rated hotels with lesser names and cheaper that were better than this hotel.

Hotel was old but clean,
I was only spending a few hours there to get some sleep so it worked for me,
I would want something newer, even to just spend the night!

Comfortable and clean room. Smelled of cigarette smoke though. Started out on the first floor, where the windows did not lock. Asked for a different room and was pleasently surprised that it was even cleaner than the first.

Inconvenient location, helpful staff, non-descript rooms, basic breakfast and weak workout room.

I found this hotel to provide the bare minimum. A bed a bathroom and a
TV with a broken remote.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It was dirty with a moldy bathroom and dirty floors. There was no shuttle service to the airport. Located in a very shady area of town. A cop pulled up right as I was checking in.

The rooms were very small although nicely updated. The man who checked us in was very accommodating although later during our visit we were verbally abused by another attended regarding our dog.

I wouldn't return and would think twice about staying at a Travelodge again.

It was far off the freeway, looked like some questionable occupants were hanging around. smoking in the hall ways and in general was dirty looking and feeling. Front desk staff was nice and tried to help out.
