The kitchenette was wonderful and helped save money. We didn't have to keep dining out. All meals can be made from equipped kitchenette.
There was an unexplained staircase within the room that lead to a locked door. It was a little creepy for my 14 year old boy.
I thought this hotel was nice and convenient, especially because I was able to cook with the kitchenette. The price was affordable, and the location was good. It's located toward the end of the strip, but it's still a nice, buzzing but quiet area. The adventure golf play scape is a few buildings down, so that was a nice treat when you are looking for something to do that's casual from a day of sight seeing. The room was non-smoking, but it did have a cigarette odor when you first walked in. I brought febreeze, and I did bring a lot of my own stuff, pots, pans, dishes, etc. Even though it comes fully equipped for all your cooking needs...I'm glad I did because some of the stuff there looked old and un kept. I just packed like I was camping. It was a nice hotel and I would use it again and recommend it to people I know. read more

The kitchenette.
The way the hotel is built, the sun never shines in the front rooms.
I stayed at the Traverse Bay Inn for my writers weekend. Each room is like a mini-apartment and includes a kitchenette. These features were important for me during my stay. I needed privacy, focus, and few distractions. The hotel was quiet even when busy. I was able to write 65 pages of my book during my stay in part because of the great experience at the Inn. Also, I have food allergies and dining out is hard. The kitchenette resolved that issue for me. I highly recommend the Traverse Bay Inn. read more

Loved to hotel. Great value for the money.
Great room, no complaints.
I was really impressed. I liked the location, right across the street from the beach. Great location, just a few minutes from the main downtown area. So it was a great value for the money. The kitchenette was very was stocked and room was very clean. We thought the room was great for couples or business-there is a free WiFi connection. I also enjoyed the complimentary bikes that were available to ride. I was on a trip with my husband and we had no complaints. There was one small issue and that was handled very well and very quickly. There a lots of restaurants and activities for kids nearby. The office is very friendly and also gave information on things to do in the area. read more

The efficiency was clean and appropriate for the rating selected.
The double bed mattress was old with squeaky springs, uncomfortable.
Clean and adequate.
