Tucson - Days Inn Convention Center

Due to the Economy there is an empty lot next to it and the place, from first glance, does not look open at all but upon further inspection it obviously is. The room was most definitely clean but the remote didn't work for the tv which is no big deal really. I was just glad the car was parked right outside the door so we could hear if anyone was trying to break into it.

This was a clean motel for the money and it met my expectations.

Too noisy, to close to freeway that is under construction. The whole atmosphere was very ghetto. There were gun shots at 3am outside our hotel door. Loud music from other guests. Housekeeping knocking at the door at 8 am is way to early and then got bent out of shape when asked to come back later in the day. No hot water or pressure in the showers. I guess it's ok if traveling by yourself, but not a good spot for family.

Comfortable bed. Newly painted inside. Carpet not cleaned very well. Clearly age of motel shows. Great wireless connection. Handy continental breakfast.

It was a fantastic weekend, although the parking was terrible. There was a wedding that occupied a lot of parking my room was on the opposite of building.

Quite adequate for overnight stay. If you don't expect a five star hotel then you won't be disappointed. Clean. "Continental" breakfast was fruit (get there early for selection), toast, cold cereal, milk, orange and apple juices and coffee.

We expected a little better. We did not sleep well because all they had was a smoking room. We slept in a double bed when we are used to a king or queen.

We were two single women but the only room they had had only one full/queen bed. I slept on the floor. Every square inch of available space--in the lobby, the courtyards, grass around the motel, etc. Was filled with vendors. This was definitely the heart of the wholesale part of the gem & mineral show. It was our first time attending and we had a wonderful time.
