Very convenient location, staff helpful, clean and comfortable.

Room was not beautiful, but had a newly redone bathroom, personal air conditioning unit and was huge for a London hotel room.

The room was very spacious, and was within a 10 minute walk to the underground.
There was no air-conditioning, and the neighborhood was not safe for walking in.

I did not arrive until after dark, and felt uncomfortable walking with my bags from the Underground. Also, the lack of air conditioning in the room was a very big surprise. One would expect that from a three star hotel. In addition, the business center was shut down and there was no time line for repairs on the computer. However, the staff were quite helpful and friendly. The room was also very spacious. read more

The room had just been remodeled and the furnishings were great.
Some of the staff could not speak English very well and there was graffiti on building adjacent and leading to the hotel.

This hotel is 1 1/2 block from the Aldgate East tube location. Although the area surrounding the hotel looked old and unkempt, with graffiti around, the hotel itself was undergoing a major renovation and was very clean with large rooms. No ice machines and no wash cloths however.
