What to expect: This large hotel occupies a 1938 building on a quiet side street across from Kensington Gardens. The tiled lobby bustles with vacationers, businesspeople, and international tour groups. The Long Gallery, an adjacent sitting area, is decorated with large modern artworks and contemporary chairs and sofas.

Amenity highlights: The Kensington Close Health Club, the hotel's health spa, features an 18-meter (59-foot) heated indoor pool, a spa tub, a sauna, a well-equipped gym with six TVs, and a studio where classes are held. Guests can relax with face and body treatments, including oxygen anti-aging facials and detoxifying body wraps.

Insider tip: The hotel has a well-hidden garden with large rectangular pond, surrounded by seats where guests can relax on fine days. Barbecues are sometimes held here on balmy evenings. Perfect location - verynice room with one and a half bathrooms and two beds
some sort of weird plumbing things but it is england

The room was just great especially for London. The lobby was a bit tired but you just cannot ask for a better location.

Very large and busy. Excellent upper end tourist location. Rooms are recently remodelled.
Busy with tour groups. Lobby is chopped up.

A short 2 block walk from the Kenninsgton High Street underground based in a mixed high end residential and shopping area. Very easy to walk to 2 supermarkets and late night restraunts without having to take public transport. Room 324 had brand new bathroom and bed. Non smoking room. Room was nicer than the public space. This hotel is much larger than appears from street. Appears to be made of several buildings joined together. Lots of tour groups and families. Room is not large but not small. Better than most 3 star rooms. read more

Location is the only recommendation
Small reception, not enough staffs, has to wait long line in reception.

Second time being bit & stayed in this hotel. Reception staffs service still not improve. Can never reach the reception by phone. So every single time has to wait a long line for just a simple question. Receptionist not quite professional, unwilling to help.

I liked the neighborhood. It was very clean and safe. There were beautiful buildings around the hotel.
Too far from the touristy areas of town.

The hotel was fine for the price I paid, but at $4 per ride on the underground; it would have been a better to pay more money for a hotel in the center of the city.
