Description of Harpenden House
Following a GBP 2.5 million refurbishment in 2007/8, the Harpenden House Hotel now features fully modernised conference and event rooms; the Garden Suite and the Evergreen Room. All of the 76 bedrooms were also refurbished to provide modern, comfortable facilities. In the main house, the individual feature rooms include air conditioning. Dramatic changes took place to the Georgian Restaurant, Welcome Lounge and bar areas, to enhance their original charm and bring both modern comfort and character. The majority of rooms and meeting rooms are adjacent to the main house in the Garden Courtyard and Hertfordshire wing. read more

Well positioned in central Harpenden. Breakfast OK.

Bed needed replacing, too soft. Hair dryer broken.

Tired hotel that needs to look into maintaining it's fixtures.
