The location is ideal with close proximity to the city center and historical attractions.
Staff at reception seemed unenthusiastic, indifferent and slow to respond to waiting guests.

The hotel is clean, smart-looking, and modern. The rooms are comfortable and many come with a view of Clifford's Tower, the medieval castle. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring York and is close to the Jorvic (Viking) Museum. York Minster and the medieval city center are but a 15 minute walk from the hotel. There is an abundance of good restaurants and pubs nearby. I would definitely use this hotel again when visiting York. If arriving by car, the hotel has limited parking spaces. read more
